Are You a Student or a Teacher?
In school, the distinction is pretty clear.
Students are expected to listen, follow instructions, study, and cooperate.
Teachers are expected to teach, give instructions, motivate, and inspire.
Separate lunch tables, bathrooms, work areas, lounges, and titles/names - the distinction is unambiguous.
Outside of school, though, the lines are quite blurry. Individuals sway back and forth — one minute a teacher, the next minute a student. One person. One place. One time. Student and teacher all rolled up into one.
What if we blurred the lines in school too?
